Juge/Judge Sweepstakes: Beverley Sidor (Tormentil/Canada)

First of all, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada for inviting me to judge their Specialty classes at Ste Anne de la Perade, QC, and for giving me the privilege of evaluating their entry.  I thoroughly enjoyed my assignment and the wonderful hospitality extended by the committee and club members.  I would particularly like to recognize and thank Valerie Secardin Walters for her invaluable assistance as my ring steward, her excellent skills kept me and my ring running smoothly and efficiently.

The show venue was lovely and the ring spacious and well suited for Labradors.  I know that the weather was beyond human control, but I also have to comment on the way Mother Nature tried her best to cooperate on Sunday.

I enjoyed judging your puppies, adults, and veterans.  The entry was presented in good condition for the time of year, and was a pleasure for me to go over.  I did not find one improper temperament and while some of the youngsters may have been bit tired from two days of competition, they all accepted their examinations very well.  The handlers were unfailingly courteous, polite, and took my decisions graciously.
